About Clara

With deep roots in the live theatre, Clara is as at home on stage as she is in front of the camera or behind the microphone. Regardless of the medium, always at the forefront is the story and human connection.

On film, she has appeared with Mark Ruffalo in Dark Waters and Robert Redford in The Old Man and the Gun, as well as a long list of independent and short films and countless commercials and industrials.

A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association, Clara’s favorite stage roles include the world premieres of Come Sing, Jimmy Jo (a musical based on the Katherine Paterson book) and Wiley and the Hairy Man (a musical adaptation by Suzan Zeder of her earlier play). Sharing the stage with her son in his stage debut ranks as one of her most treasured theatre memories.

Clara’s experience also extends to voice work, including audiobook narration, podcasting, and voice acting. She produces audio projects with Swamp Witch Studio.

A 500-hour certified yoga teacher, Clara offers creativity coaching, interweaving the practices of story-making and yoga. She enjoys camping, traveling, and hiking with her rescue hound, Copper.
